Inexpensive Quality
In comparison to traditional homes our steel framed homes are:
1. Much less expensive:
We offer higher quality, stronger structures, and longer lasting homes for 1/3 of regular US, Canadian,
SA, UAE, Japanese and EU prices.
2. Stronger:
build a stronger frame with fewer pieces.
High-strength bolts and durable screws will not shift or work-out like nails do. Steel components are three times as strong
as comparable wood members. Eliminates a builder's annoying and expensive warranty call-backs from drywall nail-pops, squeaky
or sinking floors, etc.
3. Safer:
unbeatable protection from fire (noncombustible
and fire-resistant); from earthquakes (many earn a Seismic 4 rating - the highest possible; great choice for Japan, Taiwan,
California, Iraq and Turkey); from hurricane force winds (can be engineered to withstand winds of 170 m.p.h.; ideal for Florida,
Georgia, Texas, SC, NC, NM, MN, PA, NY states); from crushing snow loads, from termites and other vermin.
4. Faster to construct:
construct in up to 1 or 2 months. Only
our SGI-Steel's pre-engineered systems have components already cut, drilled, marked and ready to bolt or screw together. Very
simple to erect. Primary framing may be erected in as little as two days.
5. Energy efficient:
our homes offer significant energy savings with 9-inch R-30 insulation. Tn-Steel's pre-engineered
systems provide wider wall cavities than conventional wood framing or stick-for-stick steel framing, allowing 9-inch thick
insulation to slip into walls and ceilings, rather than 3 1/2-inch (or 5 1/2 inch) R-11 insulation typically used in ordinary
residential construction for which clients pay much more than for our system. Added insulation reduces noise from traffic
and outside distractions.
6. Healthier:
may improve indoor air quality compared to homes framed with arsenic-treated lumber, or resin-adhesives
and the formaldehyde-based glues of some engineered-wood products. With our Tn-Steel, there is no need to use cancer-causing
chlordane or other chemical termicide oil treatments.
7. Consistent:
straight, uniform framing members. No
need to cull through a pile, looking for a good piece of timber. Reduces waste. Walls are straight, floors are flat, doors
do not stick, second floors feel solid. Framing will not shrink, rot, swell, creep, creak, split, bow, shift, or deteriorate
like wood. Steel experiences none of the wildly erratic price fluctuations associated with wood.
8. More flexible:
steel framing is self-supporting, no need
for interior walls to help bear the weight of the house. Consequently, interior walls can easily be eliminated, altered or
relocated. Limitless floor plan possibilities can be created, including large, open areas, dramatic archways, and cathedral,
vaulted or raised ceilings.
We
offer higher quality, stronger structures (lifetime warranty) and longer lasting homes for 1/3 of the regular US, Canadian
and EU prices.
reminder: 1 m2 (square meter) = 9.9 SF (sqf); 200 m2 home = 1,980 SF (US)
